Report directly to the Design Director based in the New York office.5‑day work week with occassional business trips for buyer meetings required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design team (woven, knit and sweater) in Hong Kong, providing creative direction, coaching and day‑to‑day guidance.Work closely with the Design Director in New York to translate US market trends, customer briefs and brand strategies into cohesive seasonal design concepts and product lines.Oversee the design and development of ladies’ woven, knit and sweater collections for major US retailers, discount chains and the company’s own brand.Review and approve designers’ sketches, CADs, tech packs, colour palettes, prints and graphics to ensure brand consistency, commerciality and production feasibility.Partner with merchandising, sourcing and the Jiangsu factory teams to balance design aspirations with cost, margin, lead time and capacity constraints.Drive and coordinate seasonal trend, fabric, yarn, trim and wash research with a strong focus on the US mass and value market.Lead sample reviews and fitting sessions; provide consolidated fitting and design comments and ensure timely follow‑through to SMS, PP and bulk approval.Build and maintain strong working relationships with US buying and design teams, supporting line presentations, buyer meetings and quotation exercises as needed.Monitor and manage design calendars, ensuring all key milestones are met across multiple accounts and product categories.Support talent development within the design team, identifying training needs and helping to build a strong, collaborative creative culture.Ideal CandidatesDegree in Fashion Design, Knitwear, Textile / Clothing or related discipline.At least 8 years’ relevant experience in ladies’ fashion / apparel design, with solid hands‑on experience in woven, knit and/or sweater; minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team‑leading role.Strong exposure to the US market, preferably with China / Hong Kong fashion groups supplying major US retailers, discount chains and/or brands.Proven track record in managing design teams and driving seasonal collections from concept through to bulk production.Excellent understanding of fabrics, yarns, garment construction, fitting and mass‑production constraints across woven, knit and sweater categories.Strong sense of fashion trends with a highly commercial mindset; able to design within target price, margin and calendar.Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills; able to liaise confidently with overseas buyers and internal stakeholders.Good communications in English & Chinese TO APPLY for this job or similar jobs : Please email your CV

This role will support a small team who are specialised in general corporate and listed company compliance work. As the Paralegal in the team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed legal research, assisting to draft and review a variety of corporate agreements, keeping up-to-date with relevant regulations and laws and overall legal support to the lawyers.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a law graduate who speaks very fluent English and Cantonese, whilst Mandarin will be an added advantage. Prior law firm paralegal and/or compliance experience is required, ideally in a transactional practice area, however they will also consider candidates from other practice areas with an interest to explore corporate. Most importantly, they are looking for someone who is switched on, can use their initiative and is responsible.
