Data Analyst - Insurance 25-35k

As a Data Analyst specializing in PowerBI and Databricks, you will play a key role in supporting the Technology department within the insurance industry. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Description

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end data solutions supporting actuarial and finance functions.
• Streamline, consolidate and enhance existing data workflows and processes.
• Perform data extraction, transformation and analysis to support business insights.
• Develop dashboards and reports for business and technical stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day data operations and resolve data quality or process issues.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.
• Apply best practices in data management, automation and documentation.
  
  

Profile

• Degree or higher qualification in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics or Data Science.
• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, data analyst or data scientist roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and automation.
• Exposure to Databricks, Power BI, Alteryx or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
• Solid analytical thinking with strong attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Prior knowledge or experience within the finance or insurance industry is a plus.
• Able to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
