Senior QA Manager - Food Manufacturer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead enterprise‑wide quality assurance, food safety systems, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply operations.

Our client is a market‑leading food manufacturer in Hong Kong, supplying food products to retail, foodservice, and consumer markets. Quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance are core to the brand trust and long‑term success.

They are looking for a Senior QA Manager overseeing end‑to‑end quality and food safety management across manufacturing, suppliers, and distribution. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure products consistently meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards.

Description

• Lead and continuously strengthen Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Systems
• Ensure full compliance with local and international food safety standards and regulations
• Act as senior escalation point for quality incidents, recalls, and regulatory matters
• Oversee incoming raw material quality, production controls, and finished goods assurance
• Lead supplier approval, audits, and performance monitoring programs
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to address quality and food safety risks
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong food regulations and relevant international standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO)
• Manage external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification processes
• Maintain strong documentation, traceability, and recall readiness systems
• Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support training development
• Promote a strong quality culture focused on prevention, discipline, and accountability
  
  

Profile

• Bachelor Degree holder in Food Sciences or related disciplines
• 12+ years of Quality Assurance experience within food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing quality control
• Proven experience managing audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
• Hands‑on leadership experience with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Detail‑oriented, structured, and calm under pressure
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
