Sourcing Manager - Hardgoods

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing global sourcing strategies across multiple product categories, leading supplier relationships, supporting new product development, and driving cost competitiveness.

Our client is a Leading EU Sourcing office with decades of history and sustainable business growth. They are now looking for a Sourcing Manager focusing on Hardgoods to join their expanding team.

Description

• Manage key supplier accounts and sourcing categories
• Partner with Product teams to initiate new developments for catalogue launches
• Lead line reviews, supplier risk assessments, and competitive analysis
• Structure RFQs and product proposals for evaluation
• Resolve quality issues and customer claims with internal and external stakeholders

• Drive category planning, budgeting, and cost‑saving initiatives

• Identify direct factories and reduce reliance on traders/importers
• Lead benchmarking activities, global sourcing comparisons, and competitor analysis

Profile

• Bachelor Degree holder
• 8+ years of Hardgoods sourcing experience in Sourcing offices
• Proven track record managing large, international supplier bases
• Strong negotiation, cost modeling, and category management skills
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Quality, and Operations teams
• People leadership experience with a structured approach to performance management
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent in Cantonese, Manadarin, English
