Client Details

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior / Legal Manager to support the legal and compliance function of a dynamic lifestyle retail, wholesale and e-commerce brand. This role will provide practical legal advice across a broad range of matters with a general commercial work focus.

Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including: Supplier and vendor contract, Distribution and franchise agreements, Licensing and collaboration agreements, Lease and retail tenancy agreements
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice to business stakeholders.
• Advise on legal issues relating to retail operations, e-commerce, and consumer-facing activities.
• Support store operations, marketing campaigns, and product launches from a legal perspective.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, supply chain)
• Liaise with external counsel on litigation or arbitration cases.
• Provide strategic guidance on dispute avoidance and risk mitigation
• Assist in ad hoc projects such as expansion into new markets, partnerships and etc
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors.

Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE / Legal Manager with in-house experience or
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Commercially savvy with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
