Operation Business Analyst (Underwriting, Top Insurance) 60k

This role supports a critical underwriting transformation project, partnering closely with business, underwriting, and IT teams to deliver effective, high‑quality solutions. It offers strong exposure to insurance operations with hands-on involvement across requirements, testing, and stakeholder management.

Description

• Work collaboratively with business users and delivery teams to gather, validate, and document business requirements, and develop practical recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, define test data requirements, coordinate and execute UAT activities within the target project timeline.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; log and track defects identified during testing and escalate issues in accordance with established procedures to ensure timely resolution.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, underwriting teams, and IT to ensure clear communication, alignment of expectations, and effective change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project governance activities including status reporting, documentation maintenance, and adherence to project standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Profile

• Life insurance background is essential
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience within insurance companies and/or consulting firms
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
• Proven project exposure relating to insurance operations
• Preferably possess operational knowledge and hands-on experience in new business and/or underwriting processes
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• PMI or PMP certification is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
