Drive financial strategy, controls and analysis to ensure accurate reporting, strong compliance and effective support for business growth.

Role summary

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the Hong Kong finance function and manage a team of 5–6 professionals.
The role combines hands‑on accounting and month‑end responsibilities with treasury, tax, internal control and strategic finance duties to support manufacturing, trading and distribution activities.

Key responsibilities

Oversee end‑to‑end finance operations including AP, AR, payroll oversight, general ledger maintenance and month‑end close.
Prepare timely management accounts, P&L and balance sheet analyses, cashflow forecasts and variance explanations for senior management.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning; provide financial modelling and analysis to support production, procurement and business development decisions.
Manage treasury and banking relationships, oversee working capital and payment controls.
Ensure statutory compliance, coordinate tax filings and lead external audit processes.
Design, implement and monitor internal controls, policies and standard operating procedures.
Supervise, coach and develop a finance team of 5–6 members; assign duties, set KPIs and review performance.
Support ERP/finance system improvements and handle ad‑hoc projects as required.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; degree from a reputable university preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role in a manufacturing or trading environment (pharmaceutical or related industry preferred).
Strong technical accounting skills, proven experience in month‑end close, consolidations and financial reporting.
Solid experience in internal controls, audit liaison and tax compliance.
Professional qualification desirable (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent); Intermediate Accountant certification is an advantage.
Excellent Excel and ERP competence.
Strong communicator in Cantonese and English; effective collaborator with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
Leadership mindset, high integrity and analytical problem‑solving skills.
