Role Summary

• You will lead and inspire a dedicated soft furnishing team while driving the design direction for high‑end residential projects from concept to completion. 
• You will be responsible for developing sophisticated, client‑focused design solutions that are aligned with company vision, budget, and timelines, and for ensuring the highest standard of creative and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the operation of a soft furnishing interior design team, providing guidance, mentoring, and quality control.
• Lead and execute high‑end residential design projects from concept through detailed design, documentation, and on‑site implementation.
• Develop creative, tailored design solutions that meet client briefs for both Mainland China and international markets, while aligning with company objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Facilitate and lead brainstorming sessions and ideation processes to support the team’s creative delivery and innovation.
• Conduct and present design proposals to clients in a clear, professional, and compelling manner.
• Collaborate closely with internal disciplines (architecture, FF&E, lighting, etc.) and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution and high‑quality outcomes.
• Oversee project progress, quality control, and coordination with contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to deadlines and design intent.
• Undertake any ad‑hoc duties or special projects assigned by management.

Ideal Candidates

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in interior design, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Well‑experienced in soft furnishing for interior design, including curtains, upholstery, carpets, and other fabric‑based interior elements.
• Strong presentation, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Excellent aesthetic sense with a strong understanding of materials, textures, colours, and detailing, particularly in the context of luxury residential interiors.
• Passion for creative ideas and a positive, proactive mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Willingness to travel when required for project meetings, site visits, or supplier coordination.
