Role Summary
- A US-based multinational toy buying office with a major trading and sourcing hub in Hong Kong, employing over 150 team members.
- The company owns prominent toy brands and collaborates with leading global partners to develop, manufacture, and distribute innovative children's toys worldwide.
- Hong Kong office serves primary customers including major EU retailers and international toy brands (excluding US markets), prioritizing creativity, quality, and market-leading products.
Role Summary
- Work in our Order Processing Team for our Europe and international-focused toy buying office, managing orders and documentation for large-scale retail accounts akin to major EU chains (e.g., Tesco, Carrefour, Aldi equivalents).
- This role emphasizes precise ERP data entry, seamless coordination with vendors, European sales teams, and global clients, and efficient execution in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a 10-member Order Processing Team dedicated to major EU and international retail chains.
- Handle incoming sales orders, quotations, and purchase documents for European and global retail accounts (excluding US).
- Accurately input and update sales/purchase orders in the central ERP system, ensuring timeliness and error-free processing.
- Prepare detailed sales quotations tailored for large EU and international retail customers.
- Manage sample requests and packaging logistics to facilitate buying office operations.
- Liaise effectively with vendors, European sales teams, and international customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Ideal Candidates
- 5+ years in merchandising or order processing for EU, or global markets, ideally with major retailer accounts.
- Experience in toys, gifts & premiums, seasonal decorative products or related
- Proven track record in trading/buying offices, coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in EU or international markets
- Exceptional attention to detail, administrative skills, and independent account management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Good communications in English, Chinese and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective supplier and team collaboration.
