We are a fast‑growing U.S. fashion group, with our own production facility in Jiangsu, China, specializing in ladies’ woven apparel for major U.S. retailers and brands, including big‑box retailers (e.g. Walmart, JCPenney), discount chains, and brand partners.
The group also operates its own ladies’ fashion brand with 100+ standalone and shop‑in‑shop stores across the U.S.
New York office: serves as the design and sales office for the U.S. market, closely connected to end customers and retail partners.
Hong Kong office: functions as the design and sourcing hub in Asia.

Role Overview

We are hiring three Senior Fashion Designers specializing in: (1) cut & sewn knit; (2) sweater; and (3) woven.
You will design and develop ladieswear collections for leading U.S. retailers and our in‑house brands.
Collaborate closely with the U.S. Design Director in New York and the Hong Kong design team.
This role will collaborate with design, product development, and merchandising teams across Hong Kong, China, and the U.S. to deliver trend‑relevant, high‑quality collections that align with brand aesthetics and business objectives.
Based in Hong Kong, five‑day work week, occasional travel for buyer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, and develop product ranges consistent with brand identity and U.S. market trends.
Produce detailed technical sketches, specifications, CADs, and clear design presentations for production.
Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure smooth transition from design to production and commercial viability.
Research and evaluate new fabrications, trims, and techniques to drive innovation and product differentiation.
Keep current with fashion trends, retail analysis, and consumer preferences relevant to the U.S. ladieswear sector.
Provide design guidance and creative direction to team members when required.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Ideal Candidates

Tertiary education in fashion design or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of design experience, focusing on woven, cut & sewn knits, and/or sweaters.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, commercial design sense, and technical proficiency.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD, and PLM systems.
Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and trims.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good communications in English and Mandarin.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines independently.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of U.S. market trends and consumer dynamics across relevant categories.
