Role Summary

This is a hands-on accounting role responsible for managing the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong office while supervising a small accounting team.
The position also reviews and monitors PRC accounts to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control across the group.

Responsibilities

Report to the Head of Accounting and support daily accounting operations
Handle full set of accounts for the Hong Kong office, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, month-end closing, and financial reporting
Supervise and coach 2–3 accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Review and monitor PRC accounts to ensure compliance with group policies and local regulations
Conduct regular travel to Guangdong for on-site review of accounting processes, internal controls, and workflow efficiency
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and professional parties as required
Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of management reports

Ideal Candidates

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, with solid exposure to full set of accounts in manufacturing and/or trading companies; prior supervisory experience is preferred
Experience in garment trims, textiles, or related industries is an advantage
Familiar with PRC accounting practices and experience in handling PRC accounts
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with PRC teams
Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
