Role Mission

To drive OEM/ODM business growth in the bags, luggage, and travel goods sector by building and managing long‑term client relationships, overseeing end‑to‑end project execution, and ensuring high‑quality delivery that meets international market standards.
This is a commercial, project‑management role with strong merchandising and product‑coordination responsibilities, linking clients, design, and production teams.

Role Summary

You will manage multiple OEM/ODM programs for assigned US and EU customers, act as the main point of contact for these markets, and coordinate design, costing, and production to ensure products meet technical, quality, and commercial requirements.
You will work within a Team of 6–8 members, reporting directly to the Team Manager, and will provide professional merchandising and project‑management support to clients in the US and EU. The Team will be supported by 2 dedicated Sales Coordinators who assist with order processing, documentation, and internal coordination.

Job Description

Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with OEM/ODM clients in the US and EU markets, understanding their commercial and technical requirements.
Provide professional merchandising and project‑management support to assigned US and EU customers throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and development through to mass production.
Lead end‑to‑end management of multiple OEM/ODM programs, including brief review, costing, sampling, approvals, and production follow‑up.
Coordinate closely with design, sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure accurate specifications, timely delivery, and consistent quality standards.
Act as the main interface between overseas clients and the Vietnam factory, supporting client visits, factory audits, and production reviews.
Prepare and review detailed cost breakdowns and quotations, including materials, hardware, construction, and labour, to support commercial discussions.
Monitor project timelines, resolve issues, and communicate status updates to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
Provide input on materials, trims, and construction based on market trends and client feedback, helping to refine product design and manufacturability.
Work within a sales team of 6–8 members, reporting to the Sales Manager, and collaborate closely with 2 Sales Coordinators who support order processing, documentation, and internal coordination.

Ideal Candidate

3+ years of solid experience in OEM/ODM merchandising, sales, marketing or product coordination within the bags, luggage, or travel goods manufacturing sector.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin, with strong communication and presentation skills for both client and internal team discussions.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment, balancing deadlines, technical details, and commercial priorities.
Good understanding of bag materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to read technical specifications and interpret costing structures.
Comfortable handling both client‑facing responsibilities (briefing, presenting, negotiating) and behind‑the‑scenes coordination (samples, changes, production tracking).
Willingness to travel overseas, including the company’s factory in Vietnam.
Self‑motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable working in an export‑oriented manufacturing environment serving the US and EU markets.
