We are a SME trading company with 30+ years history in Hong Kong, employing around 20 staff members.
We specialized in household and home appliances products, with a strong focus on the European market.

Role Mission

Responsible for managing the full set of accounts of the Hong Kong trading office as a one‑man‑band, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and smooth coordination with external auditors at year‑end.

Role Summary

Perform full set accounts for the Hong Kong trading office, independently handling daily accounting operations and month‑end / year‑end closing.
Coordinate with the external auditor at year‑end; and communicate regularly with the English‑speaking Boss on financial matters.
No business trips is required, and overtime is minimal.

Job Description

Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong trading office, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and inventory control.
Process sales and purchase invoices, recording transactions, and ensure proper documentation and filing.
Prepare monthly financial statements for management review.
Coordinate with the external auditor for year‑end audit, including preparation of supporting schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor queries.
Assist with basic cash‑flow monitoring and liaison with banks for account management and payment instructions.

Ideal Candidate

Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3+ years of relevant experience in a trading company, with hands‑on experience in full‑set accounting (P&L, balance sheet, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations).
Experience working with external auditors is highly preferred.
Good English communication skills (written and spoken) as the Boss is English‑speaking.
Comfortable working independently as a one‑man‑band in accounting role.
Meticulous, detail‑oriented, and comfortable dealing with numbers and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Terms & Benefits

5 days work : Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Annual leave: 14 days.
Minimal overtime required
No trips required
