Role Mission

You will have full accountability for the bank's operational performance, strategic execution, and digital evolution.
Your mission is to optimize retail banking operations, enhance deposit and lending services, and spearhead a "digital-first" culture while aligning local operations with international governance standards to position the bank as a leader in the Country's retail banking sector.

Role Summary

This is a comprehensive leadership role with full operational accountability.
You will oversee end-to-end business delivery, operational excellence, fintech initiatives, and branch network performance.
You will work closely with the President to ensure institutional governance and regulatory harmony while serving as the strategic bridge between banking operations and our Hong Kong shareholder group.

Key Responsibilities

Drive operational efficiency, optimize cost structures, and deliver sustainable performance across all business segments.
Champion digital banking strategy, including product development, fintech partnerships, and scalable digital channel expansion.
Oversee retail lending portfolio, branch network performance, and customer acquisition while maintaining rigorous credit quality.
Ensure full compliance with banking regulations and internal controls while integrating comprehensive risk management across operations.
Lead senior management toward a high-performance culture, fostering talent development and cross-functional synergy.
Collaborate with the President on regulatory matters and maintain strong engagement with Hong Kong shareholder group through regular business travel.

Ideal Candidate

20+ years extensive experience in medium-to-large reputable banking or financial institutions.
Proven senior leadership success in retail banking, commercial banking or fintech.
Deep expertise in retail lending, digital banking operations, and Asian banking regulatory framework.
Demonstrated track record in operational management, business scaling, and digital transformation.
Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese.
Strategic, high-integrity executive with strong business acumen and Board-level presence.
