Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthamology
Established in 1960, the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) is a supranational organization that promotes the science and art of ophthalmology among all peoples and nations within the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in the prevention of blindness and restoration of sight through teaching, research, and community services. Regional congresses are organized for the advancement of expertise and research in eye care. With a total of 25 members societies from different countries in the Asia-Pacific region, the APAO is gearing up for more exciting events and initiatives.
